Q: How do I change the Global Station Tuner™ settings?
Within MyTuner, choose "Edit Settings" from the right-click menu.

If the player is not open, go to your Start Menu, and select "Global Station Tuner Settings" from the SWCast Network folder.

Q: Can I listen to broadcasts directly inside MyTuner?
Yes! Simply open the Global Station Tuner Settings, and change your default player to Windows Media. Playback controls will appear directly within MyTuner.

Q: Is there way to start MyTuner from the Web browser?
Indeed there is. Type 'tuner:' all by itself into the address bar and hit Enter.

Q: How do I save the entire playlist history?
Right click in the MyTuner window. A popup menu will appear. Choose "Save Playlist".

A full log of the playlist will open in the associated text viewer.

Q: If I know the call-name of a station, how do I tune in?
From within MyTuner (or your Web browser address bar), type in "gst:" followed by the ID of the station. If you want to connect to a higher or lower-bitrate stream, insert either "lo-band@" or "hi-band@" just before the station ID.

Q: Why do I receive a "Could not transfer file" error during setup?
If you are a Windows XP user, this is likely caused by improper or nonstandard security settings on your computer or else a virus checker or spyware blocker. Resolution: Add '*.swcast.net' to your list of trusted sites in the Internet zone and the files will save properly to your computer.

Q: I'm a broadcaster, so why doesn't my station show in the directory?
Only Premiere Placement broadcasts as part of SWCast.net Personal Broadcast Services are listed in the MyTuner directory.
Q: Why am I notified that GST addresses have no file associations?
You will need to install the latest version of Windows Script Host.
Q: Can I help promote MyTuner on my Website?
Of course! To show your support for our media player, just place the following icon on your homepage! Be sure to link to www.mytuner.net.

Remember, the more listeners who use MyTuner, the more we'll be able to work on cool new features down the road.
